Project Manager IT

Banking or Financial experience

Contract Period: 8 months with potential to extend or convert

Location: Toronto, ON

Location type: Hybrid; three times a week (Tuesday, Wednesday, and Thursday)

Business Hours: Monday to Friday; 9 AM to 5 PM

Candidate Requirements/Must Have Skills:

1. 10+years of proven experience as an IT Project Manager.

2. Project Management Professional (PMP) or equivalent certification or experience.

3. Agile methodology.

4. Certified Scrum Master (CSM).

5. Professional Scrum Master (PSM).

6. SAFe Scrum Master (SSM), Agile Certified Practitioner (PMI-ACP), or Certified Scrum Professional (CSP).

7. Extensive experience working closely with multiple teams to successfully execute and complete projects, ideally but not imperative, related to GenAI.

Soft Skills

• Excellent leadership and team management skills, with the ability to motivate and inspire cross-functional teams.

• Proficient in project management methodologies and tools, with a track record of delivering projects on time and within budget.

• Strong communication skills, both written and verbal, with the ability to effectively convey complex technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders.

• Exceptional problem-solving and decision-making abilities, with a keen attention to detail.

• Ability to work well under pressure, prioritize multiple tasks, and adapt to changing priorities in a fast-paced environment.
