Joker Games, a remote mobile gaming company based in Istanbul, started in 2017 with a bang by introducing "Batak Club" our signature game that has become a huge success in Turkey. Now, we are on a mission to revolutionize our genre and develop high-quality evergreen mobile games for players around the world.

Art is the heart of gaming. We're looking for a skilled and experienced Game Artist to bring our games to life by crafting CONCEPT ART, ENVIRONMENTS, and GAME ITEMS, and shaping the USER EXPERIENCE from start to finish. If you're passionate about gaming and have a creative spark, we'd love to hear from you!

RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Conduct continuous research and analysis of the market for concepts, art, and game aesthetics.
• Develop visual concepts and ideas for games.
• Create and implement visually appealing environments, game assets, and preferably characters from scratch.
• Design UX (User Experience) and UI (User Interface).
• Find creative art solutions for production challenges.
• Collaborate closely with Product Managers and Game Developers to deliver the best gaming experience.

REQUIRED SKILLS:

• Proficiency in Photoshop and Illustrator, or equivalent software.
• Deep knowledge of composition, perspective, lighting, and color theory.
• 4+ years of experience in UI Art & Design, with a strong portfolio showcasing a range of styles.
• Understanding of the current Mobile Games market and its popular design styles.
• Knowledge of Unity, particularly its UI system, is a significant advantage.
• Experience in 2D animation is also highly desirable.
