Software Engineer in Test

A global leader in surgery with products and solutions found in almost every operating room around the world, and has made significant contributions to surgery for more than 100 years, from creating the first sutures, to revolutionizing surgery with minimally invasive procedures.

Responsibilities:

• Work closely with Developers to enhance test infrastructure for complex embedded systems
• Design and develop advanced features and enhancements for Testing Framework
• Design and implement sophisticated automated tests for software and hardware components
• Implement and execute functional tests, unit tests, stress tests and performance tests
• Improve test automation scripts and coverage
• Participate in design discussions and code reviews
• Create test protocols and test reports
• Collect, analyze, track and report test results. Document and file bugs

Requirements:

• 4+ years of experience as a Software Engineer
• Strong experience with Python programming
• Experienced with C++ programming
• Strong experience in developing test infrastructure, test fixtures and implementing test framework enhancements for the embedded software
• Strong experience in integration and improving test infrastructure for existing software solutions
• Experienced in writing test procedures, test reports, performing test execution and filing bugs
• The candidate must be comfortable working with complex electro-mechanical system hardware, deploying new software releases and understanding the related infrastructure
• Strong written and oral communication skills (English)
• Experience with Agile tools such as Jira and Confluence.
• Experience with JAMA or any similar test management tools
• Prior experience in medical software development projects is a plus
