Full Stack Developer - Hobart

This well-established and well-known organisation is looking for a Full Stack Developer to join their Hobart Team.

Your new role

Working closely with project teams to deliver improvements and new systems, this role will see you design, develop, test, deploy and support cloud and on-premise applications, and contribute to the development of strategy and roadmaps for technical solutions.


What you'll need to succeed

  • Front-end JavaScript technologies such as Next.js, Vue.js, React, and Angular. Knowledge of legacy JSF front-end frameworks is also a plus.
  • On the back-end, you'll work with Java, Python, Spring Boot, Maven, JBoss EAP, and RESTful APIs, with C# experience being desirable.
  • Our tech stack includes AWS technologies like Lambda, S3, EC2, API Gateway, ECR, CloudWatch, CloudFront, IAM, and more.
  • You'll also engage in database development using PostgreSQL, AWS Aurora DB, or similar SQL-based RDMS platforms.
  • Proficiency in CI/CD with GitLab, AWS CDK, and AWS CloudFormation is essential.
  • A strong understanding of WCAG and the Digital Service Standards, along with experience in automated testing tools and test-driven development, will set you apart.
