The Role

As a Full Stack Engineer at Haast, you'll build and scale features across our modern tech stack using Python, Svelte, and FastAPI. Your work will directly impact our platform's ability to process thousands of compliance assets daily while maintaining our rapid growth trajectory. We're looking for someone who's excited about building intuitive interfaces and robust backend systems that power our AI compliance engine.

We are looking for an experienced mid or senior engineer.

Impact you'll have

• Architect and develop new features in our Python/Svelte platform
• Build and maintain our FastAPI-powered web services
• Create seamless integrations with enterprise client systems
• Optimize PostgreSQL database performance and query efficiency
• Drive improvements in our automated testing and CI/CD pipelines
• Mentor team members while helping maintain high code quality standards

What you'll bring

Must have

• 3+ years of full stack development experience
• Strong proficiency in Python and JavaScript
• Experience with modern web frameworks and architectural patterns
• Solid understanding of PostgreSQL and database optimization
• Track record of building scalable web applications
• Experience with search technologies

Nice to have

• FastAPI and Svelte experience
• Startup or high-growth environment experience
• AWS cloud platform expertise
• Interest in AI/ML systems
• Experience with GitHub Actions and CI/CD pipelines
• Familiarity with automated testing frameworks
