Visual Designer

PlusMinusOne is a mobile startup studio that focuses on developing and marketing its own apps that are used and loved by millions of people around the world. Our products collectively reach more than a half-million new users every month in the US market alone. We are a hybrid startup with offices in San Francisco, Istanbul and Ankara.

We have been building mobile products focused on Business, Photo & Video, and Education categories in the App Store mainly for the US market since 2016. And in each of these categories, our goal is the same: provide actual value to people with the best mobile user experience.

We’re in an exciting period of growth and are looking for Visual Designer who will help us shape the future of mobile.

What we are looking for:

• Experience in visual graphic design and video content creation (Adobe Creative Suite, Figma, Canva, Capcut or similar tools).
• Strong understanding of brand strategy, visual identity, and storytelling techniques.
• Strong interest in social media trends, digital marketing, and employer branding best practices.
• Ability to analyze market trends and consumer behavior to create impactful content.
• Experience in video shooting and editing is a big plus.
• A creative, detail-oriented, and strategic mindset.
• Strong communication and collaboration skills to work across departments.

Your responsibilities will be:

• Develop and execute visual brand strategies for both our company (employer branding) and mobile applications (product branding) working along with marketing, HR and product teams.
• Create engaging graphics and videos for App Store, social media channels and other digital platforms.
• Design assets for social media, job posts, career pages, app’s product marketing materials, and internal communications.
• Stay updated with market trends and competitor strategies to ensure our brand positioning remains strong.
• Maintain and evolve the brand identity guidelines, ensuring consistency across all platforms.
• Contribute to campaigns, events, and other marketing initiatives with creative content ideas.
