Sigma Suisse is seeking for it's client, a company in the trading sector, a Senior Network Engineer :


Responsibilities:


  • Ensure day-to-day network operations and monitoring, addressing and resolving network issues with a business-oriented approach.
  • Collaborate with global IT teams to implement new systems and address security concerns.
  • Maintain network performance through monitoring, analysis, troubleshooting, and escalation of issues to vendors, offices, datacenters, and remote locations.
  • Upgrade network equipment to the latest stable firmware releases.
  • Design and implement both wired and wireless networks, including LANs, WANs, network segments, Internet exposure, and SD-WAN solutions.
  • Manage Cisco ISE authentication (802.1x, Radius, and Tacacs).
  • Enhance network security and document network processes and cabling layouts.
  • Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and security standards relevant to network infrastructure.
  • Manage and ensure the proxy solution is operational and handle its deployment.
  • Possess telephony knowledge for SBC and Teams environments (preferred).


Qualifications:


  • Strong technical skills with Cisco equipment; CCNP certification preferred.
  • Experience in implementing and maintaining Palo Alto Firewalls for network security and access control.
  • Proficiency with SolarWinds NPM (Network Performance Monitor) and NCM (Network Configuration Manager) for network monitoring and configuration management, as well as ThousandEyes solutions.
  • Solid understanding of Cisco routing and switching products and networking protocols (EIGRP, OSPF, BGP, DMVPN, Catalyst, and Nexus).
  • Experience with SD-WAN, Internet, and low latency circuits.
  • Proficiency in Wi-Fi deployment and operation on Aruba and Cisco Meraki.
  • Cloud experience with Azure, AWS, and GCP.
  • Knowledge of Audiocode SBC and IP phones.
  • Experience with proxy solutions such as McAfee, Zscaler, and Palo Alto.
  • Familiarity with WAF on F5 Silverline.
  • Skills in automation, including Python scripting and Ansible.
