Business Analyst

• Experience: 8+ years of business analysis experience in the banking domain, with a strong focus on cards and payments (authorization, posting, tokenization, credit/debit card transactions).
• Domain Knowledge: Deep understanding of Cards and Payments domain, including authorization, transaction processing, tokenization, and 3D Secure (3DS).
• Messaging Standards: Strong knowledge of messaging protocols such as ISO8583, AS2805, JSON, and Avro.
• SQL/Data Analysis: Proficient in SQL and strong data analysis skills to analyze datasets, extract insights, and support decision-making.
• System Integration: Experience with data/interface mapping and system integrations using API, Kafka, MQ, and TCP/IP.
• Stakeholder Communication: Strong communication skills to manage, influence, and collaborate with stakeholders, both technical and business, to ensure alignment and drive results.

Key Responsibilities:

• Business Analysis in Cards and Payments: Engage with business stakeholders to gather, analyze, and document requirements for card payment systems and related processes, including authorization, posting, tokenization, 3Ds, and credit/debit card transactions.
• Data Analysis & Mapping: Use SQL and data analysis skills to extract and analyze large datasets, providing actionable insights and ensuring data integrity. Perform data/interface mapping for various systems, including integrations between APIs, Kafka, MQ, and TCP/IP.
• System Integration & APIs: Support integration efforts between various systems and platforms, ensuring seamless data flow and communication across different systems and stakeholders. This includes APIs, Kafka, MQ, TCP/IP, and other technologies.
• Messaging Standards Knowledge: Deep understanding and experience with messaging standards such as ISO8583, AS2805, JSON, and Avro, ensuring the right data formats and protocols are followed for secure and efficient communication.
• Stakeholder Engagement: Collaborate with stakeholders (both technical and non-technical), gathering feedback, managing expectations, and influencing decision-making to ensure the alignment of business and technical goals.
• Technical Documentation: Develop clear and detailed technical documentation, including requirements specifications, system integration designs, and data mapping documents, to guide technical teams in project implementation.
• Vendor & Solution Management: Experience working with multiple vendors/solutions in fraud detection and payment systems (e.g., MasterCard, Visa, DXC, FIS), coordinating with them to deliver integrated solutions.
