Role Overview
We are looking for a Human Resources Specialist to report to the HR Director within our Human Resources department. This role is a generalist position that allows for working in various HR areas needed by the business and company.
The role is a hybrid position, requiring the employee to physically come to the office at least once a week. In terms of onboarding, hiring, and termination situations requiring the employee to physically come to the office with a maximum of 3 days in the office.
Key Responsibilities:
Payroll and Personnel Affairs:
- Manage end-to-end payroll processes, ensuring accuracy and compliance with legal requirements.
- Handle employee records, including new hires, terminations, and other personnel changes.
- Track legal processes with the Ministry of Labor, İşkur, and SGK.
- Track Teknopark (R&D projects) reporting and tax incentive processes within compliance & legal advisor.
- Perform all kind of employee related operational tasks related to salary wages and other social benefits.
- Being the first point of contact in private health insurance operations & reporting.
- Ensure that physical personnel files are prepared in compliance with the regulations.
- End to end management new hiring and employee termination processes.
- Respond to employees in document requests and adhoc inquiries.
Reporting
- Monitor and report on employees' annual leave and sick leave processes.
- Reporting payroll report to the HR Director on monthly basis.
- Keep the HRIS system up to date.
- Reporting company-wide announcements (welcome, goodbye..)
Recruitment
- Support HR and hiring managers in creating and posting job in Linkedin.
- Support initial resume screenings to identify potential candidates for open positions.
- Arrange and schedule interviews, coordination and sending confirmation emails.
- Coordination and reporting of candidate case submission processes
- Help new hires with in paperwork and onboarding schedules.
- Maintain and update recruitment-related records in the HRIS system, including candidate data and job requisitions.
Qualifications:
- Based in İstanbul
- Bachelor’s degree in Labor Economics, Business Administration or a related area
- Strong knowledge of Labor Law No. 4857 and current related regulations.
- At least 3 years of experience in payroll processing.
- Preferably experienced in R&D payroll and incentives.
- Proven experience in managing personnel processes.
- Proficient in MS Office applications.
