System Engineer

We are seeking for motivated Systems Engineer candidates who want to be a part of our Display Systems R&D activities for Simulation and Training Projects. Display Systems team is a multidisciplinary engineering team providing optimal engineering solutions and develop our own products for all simulator visuals. We plan to support our growing team with highly motivated teammates. Our future System Engineer colleagues shall have the chance to experience all stages of Systems Engineering and shall specialize on visualization concepts as a consequence of intensive working and related trainings.

Education for System Engineer :

• A Bachelor’s Degree in Electronics Engineering
• Master of Science and higher degree in a related field is a plus.
• Reading, writing and speaking fluently in English (needs to demonstrate)

Job Responsibilities for System Engineer :

• Perform design and product development activities for Visual Display Systems .
• Orchestrate all system development activities of the team from concept to disposal.
• Take the responsibility or support his/her colleagues for analysis, development, integration and documentation activities in the projects with his/her domain knowledge.
• Perform or support various system analysis (including performance, trade-offs, effectiveness, cost-benefits, etc.)
• Participate in site installations (physically install and interconnect system equipment in customer sites).
• Discover stakeholder needs and elicit requirements.
• Participate in Integration, verification and validation activities.
• Participate in System Acceptance activities.
• Support customers and users during operations.
• Complete and ensure all documentation, which is mandated by standards, methodologies or customer, is properly maintained and updated in a timely manner
• Develop technical plans and schedules, identify technical risks, and support the team lead in mitigation.
• Deliver formalized and over-the-shoulder training on technology solutions to customer staff.
• Perform other related duties as assigned by management.

Technical Qualifications for System Engineer:

• Strong knowledge on video distribution solutions and video signal characteristics.
• Intermediate knowledge on projection systems and projectors including optical system quality parameters like system luminance, contrast, optical resolution.
• Should be eager to learn and develop himself/herself on multichannel projection system design
• 3+ years direct engineering experience.
• Experience in system requirements elicitation, analysis and management spanning development, definition, analysis and verification in related field.
• Experience on all phases of the project development lifecycle.
• Can use and lead (technical) subcontractors in his/her field whenever needed
• Experience in facilitating Technical Interface Meetings and/or technical and project management working groups.
• Should have an ALES point over 85 ( only applicable for the candidates having experience less than 3 years)

Preferred Technical Qualifications for System Engineer:

One or more of the followings are plus:

• Trainings and Certificates on video transmission, video distribution, projectors and optical design.
• Having ability and experience to develop programs on Visual Studio.
• +5 years work experience.
• Optical Design and Site installation experience.
• Master of Science Degree on Physics or Electronics Engineering, preferably focused on or covering visualization concepts.
• Personal interest on aviation, defence systems, hi-tech topics and visualization systems.

Location & Travel for System Engineer:

• This position is located in Ankara, and it requires travel domestically and work on customer sites for short (a few days) or long (a few months) period during system development, installation, operation and support.
• Travel expenses and allowance will be provided.
• No military obligation or postponed for 2 years
