Fullstack Developer

Full Stack Developer | Cybersecurity & eFraud Detection | Remote/Hybrid

Role Overview

We are seeking a Full Stack Developer to contribute to our cybersecurity application focused on eFraud detection. This role involves designing, developing, and maintaining APIs and GUIs, ensuring seamless operation, security, and scalability within our internally cloud-hosted solution. The ideal candidate will have strong backend expertise in Java and Spring Boot, along with frontend experience in React or Angular.

Key Responsibilities

Full Stack Development & Optimization

Develop APIs and user interfaces (GUIs) to support eFraud detection business and technical requirements.

Implement RESTful services and ensure seamless data flow between backend and frontend.

Optimize application performance, scalability, and security.

Testing & Deployment

Define and execute end-to-end test scenarios, document defects, and ensure smooth deployment.

Support CI/CD pipelines for efficient software delivery.

Incident Management & Monitoring

Proactively identify and prevent production incidents.

Investigate, resolve, and document API and GUI-related issues.

Collaborate with teams for system upgrades, security patches, and infrastructure maintenance.

Infrastructure & Cloud Operations

Share responsibility for VM creation, resource sizing, patching, and decommissioning.

Evaluate and test new services from the internal cloud platform.

Required Skills & Experience

Minimum 2 years of experience in full-stack development and production management.

Backend: Strong expertise in Java, REST APIs, Spring, and Spring Boot.

Frontend: Experience with React or Angular for GUI development.

DevOps & CI/CD: Proficiency in Git, Jenkins, and CI/CD pipelines.

Databases: Experience with relational and NoSQL databases (PostgreSQL, HBase preferred).

Other Tech: Familiarity with Linux, RabbitMQ is a plus.

Education: Bachelors degree in Computer Science or a related field.

Languages: Fluent in English; French is a plus.
