Product Security Expert (Medical Devices)

We’re looking for a Cyber Security Expert to help ensure the cybersecurity and regulatory compliance of medical device software. You’ll be part of a team of engineers, scientists, and medical professionals, guiding software projects through the Medical Device Regulation (MDR). Your role will focus on assessing security risks, advising customers on implementation, and ensuring compliance with industry standards.

Your Responsibilities

• Support and guide software projects in the medical technology sector.
• Advise clients on security processes and regulatory requirements (e.g., IEC 81001-5-1).
• Conduct threat analyses, gap assessments, and risk evaluations for medical devices.

What You Need

✔ Degree in engineering or a related field.

✔ Strong technical background and understanding of medical software security.

✔ Familiarity with cybersecurity regulations & standards

✔ Experience in risk assessment and security analysis for medical devices.

✔ Knowledge of encryption techniques and access control for sensitive medical data.

✔ Ability to communicate complex security topics in a clear, non-technical way.

✔ Fluent in English and German and open to travel.
