Job Title: AI and Data Analytics Specialist

About the Role:
We are looking for an experienced and dynamic AI and Data Analytics Specialist to join our medical device client. In this role, you will leverage cutting-edge AI technologies, data analytics, and machine learning techniques to drive automation, enhance data-driven decision-making, and improve manufacturing processes. The ideal candidate will have a deep understanding of both AI and data analytics, along with hands-on experience in key technologies and systems used in the manufacturing domain.
Key Responsibilities:
- Stay up-to-date with the latest trends and technologies in AI, ensuring the use of best practices and innovative solutions.
- Utilise data analytics skills to gather, interpret, and analyse large datasets, providing actionable insights to improve operations.
- Design and develop intuitive user interfaces for better data accessibility and visualization.
- Develop and implement mapping solutions to identify commonalities and trends in alerts across systems.
- Drive the digitalisation and automation of key tasks within the organisation to improve efficiency.
- Understand and work with critical manufacturing process data such as MES, BMRAM, SAP, and machine data.
- Utilize historian databases to manage and analyse time-series data for process optimisation.
- Work with various SAS Modules to facilitate data analysis and reporting.
- Utilise NEO4J graph database technology to analyse relationships between data points for better decision-making.
- Write and optimise Python scripts to automate data workflows and integrate various systems.
- Develop dashboards, reports, and visualisations using Qlik Sense to support data-driven decisions across the business.
- Implement machine learning techniques, particularly regression analysis, to predict trends and support decision-making processes.
Key Qualifications:
- Proven experience in AI, data analytics, and machine learning applications.
- Strong understanding of manufacturing processes and the integration of data from systems such as MES, BMRAM, SAP, and machine data.
- Hands-on experience with SAS Programming and Qlik Sense for reporting and data visualisation.
- Solid experience with graph database technologies, specifically NEO4J.
- Expertise in Python programming for data automation and integration tasks.
- Knowledge of historian databases and how to leverage them for time-series analysis.
- Experience in task automation and process digitalisation in an industrial or manufacturing environment.
- Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to work with cross-functional teams to drive change.
- Excellent communication and presentation skills to convey complex technical insights to non-technical stakeholders.
Preferred Skills:
- Experience with advanced machine learning techniques beyond regression analysis.
- Familiarity with data security and governance protocols.
- Experience working with cloud-based solutions for data storage and processing.
