Functional Analyst Enterprise Applications

Understanding and analysing user problems and needs, and converting them into concrete specifications for IT applications in order to achieve efficient, customer-oriented IT applications and processes.

What does a skeyes Functional Analyst do?

• You will act as an interface between end users and the technical teams, both internal and external.
• You will identify our customers' needs and convert them into functional and technical requirements.
• You will carefully develop and document the functional logic of an application, as follows:
• Process mapping, design and configuration
• Analyse and model data and document function descriptions, user interface design, system-to-system interaction design,...
• You will monitor implementation and delivery in collaboration with the PM.
• You will test and validate applications and tools.
• You will write manuals for end users and train them in this area.
• You will provide functional assistance to developers.
• You will contribute to the continuous improvement of our IT services through proposals for improvement defined in collaboration with our users.
• You will be able to understand our users' problems and come up with effective solutions.
• You will be able to challenge our users' requests in order to respond in the best possible way.
  
  

Candidate profile

What makes you the perfect Functional Analyst?

• You hold a Bachelor’s or a Master’s degree and you have a strong affinity with IT.
• You have at least 3 years of relevant work experience in a medium-sized or large organization.
• As our Functional Analyst you have experience in management and configuration of applications and tools in a complex environment with various user groups.
• Ideally, you have experience in project management in an IT-related environment and you take ownership of the projects that are assigned to you.
• You have a problem-solving attitude; you detect the root cause of a problem and find the solution.
• You have experience in providing support to customers.
• You are flexible.
• You have good analytical skills.
• You have a good knowledge of French, Dutch and English.
