We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Cloud Architect to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will be a certified AWS and Azure Solutions Architect with a deep understanding of cloud technologies, cloud automation, and DevOps practices. The role involves designing, implementing, and managing highly scalable, secure, and efficient cloud architectures for our clients, while ensuring cost optimization and performance. The successful candidate will be responsible for leading a team of engineers and collaborating with cross-functional teams to drive cloud transformation and adoption strategies.
Key Responsibilities:
- Design, implement, and manage highly available and resilient cloud architectures on AWS, Azure, and Kubernetes.
- Lead multi-region and multi-cloud infrastructure projects, ensuring scalability, security, and high availability.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to establish and optimize CI/CD pipelines, reducing time-to-market and improving deployment frequencies.
- Drive cloud migration strategies by transitioning workloads from on-premises to cloud environments, achieving significant operational cost savings.
- Automate cloud infrastructure provisioning using Terraform, ARM templates, and CloudFormation.
- Architect and manage containerized applications using EKS, AKS, and Kubernetes, ensuring scalability, security, and reliability.
- Lead cloud optimization initiatives by employing cost-saving measures such as rightsizing, reserved instances, and automated monitoring.
- Implement security best practices, including IAM, network security, and data protection across cloud environments.
- Enhance system observability and incident response using tools like Prometheus, Grafana, CloudWatch, and Azure Monitor.
- Build and manage a Site Reliability Engineering (SRE) team to ensure optimal performance and health of cloud environments.
- Promote a cloud-first strategy to transition IT infrastructure to AWS and Azure.
- Foster a collaborative work environment that encourages knowledge sharing and continuous learning.
- Provide leadership and direction for team members, ensuring performance targets and project timelines are met.
- Drive digital transformation initiatives by leveraging cloud-native deployment models and cloud automation technologies.
Required Qualifications:
- AWS Solutions Architect – Associate or AWS Certified Solutions Architect – Professional certification.
- Microsoft Certified Azure Administrator Associate certification.
- Expertise in cloud-native deployments, cloud migration, and cloud automation within the Well-Architected Framework.
- Proficiency in Infrastructure as Code (IaC) tools such as Terraform, CloudFormation, GitOps, and Ansible.
- Experience with CI/CD tools such as GitHub Actions, Azure DevOps, and Jenkins.
- Strong experience in Site Reliability Engineering (SRE) and DevOps practices.
- Proficiency in container orchestration using Docker, Kubernetes (EKS, AKS), and serverless technologies.
- Extensive experience in cloud cost optimization, including rightsizing, reserved instances, and automated cost monitoring.
- Strong expertise in cloud security, IAM, network security, and data protection.
- Excellent leadership and team management skills, with the ability to mentor and guide engineers.
- Strong communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work in cross-cultural and globally distributed teams.
- Proficiency in scripting languages like Python, Shell, and PowerShell for automation tasks.
