Full Stack Engineer

Job Title - Full-Stack Engineer.

Location: Cologne, Germany.

Job Type: 6 Months Contract.

Work Mode: Hybrid ( 2 days a week on-site in Cologne ).

Language: German B2 Level.

Role Overview:

As a Fullstack Developer, you will be responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining high-quality software solutions. You will work in an Agile/Scrum environment, leveraging modern technologies to drive digital transformation.

What You Bring:

• Excellent Java development experience
• Strong expertise in Spring, Spring Boot, and RESTful APIs
• Agile/Scrum experience and DevOps knowledge
• Experience with test-driven development (JUnit, mocking frameworks)
• Knowledge-sharing mindset (pair programming, mentoring)
• Understanding of security best practices (OWASP, SonarQube, Findbugs, etc.)
• Hands-on experience with Jenkins, Tekton, and building pipelines

Nice to Have:

• Proficiency in German (C2)
• Experience with AWS Cloud, Docker, Kubernetes, and OpenShift
• Familiarity with Jira, Confluence, and process modeling (Camunda, BPM)
• Knowledge of OOA/OOD, UML, and experience in the insurance sector
