Job Title: Lead IOS Engineer – Mobile Applications

Salary: Up to £92,000 per annum

Location: Hybrid working – West London / Berkshire

We have been engaged by a prominent national retail and e-commerce organisation to seek experienced and talented Lead IOS Engineer with a focus on Mobile App Development. This role will be instrumental in driving the development of mobile applications, within an established engineering practice, ensuring that the solution delivers against strategic priorities. The Lead IOS Engineer will collaborate with a number of cross functional teams to develop robust, scalable and high-quality solutions.

Essential Experience

• A background of leading the development decisions for high availability / scalable mobile applications and influencing development strategies within complex enterprise organisations.
• A history of native mobile application development - IOS/Swift as a preference however Android/Kotlin will be beneficial.
• Expertise in mobile app architectural patterns and frameworks and a solid foundational knowledge of wider software architecture principles.
• Experience with engineering techniques (TDD / Pair Programming) and Agile development.
• An understanding of application security and accessibility best practices.

Desirable Experience

• IOS Development experience as a priority however additional knowledge of Android / Kotlin will be desirable
