Product Manager

About the Role:

We are seeking an experienced Product Development Manager to join our team and lead the implementation of new products within the LATAM Markets Offshore books. This role will be aligned with our business strategy, focusing on the effective delivery of products in the Wholesale Banking (CIB) landscape. You will be responsible for managing the implementation process, from planning to execution, with a primary focus on Market Products such as FI, FXD, IRD, and Structured Rates.

In this role, you will be responsible for understanding the dynamics of product implementation across various teams, ensuring synergies and collaboration between Front Office, Middle Office, IT, Market Risk, Methodology, Operations, Accounting, Legal, Tax, Compliance, and Regulatory areas. You will also play a key role in designing an implementation plan, ensuring delivery on time, and effectively coordinating tasks across different teams.

Key Responsibilities:

• Lead and manage the implementation of new products within LATAM Markets Offshore, ensuring alignment with business strategy.
• Work closely with various internal teams (e.g., Front Office, IT, Risk, Legal, Compliance) to assess impacts, requirements, and dependencies.
• Develop and oversee the product implementation plan, monitoring the progress and ensuring timely delivery.
• Ensure the smooth coordination between different teams, managing task execution and reporting on risks and progress.
• Serve as the main point of contact for the project, handling communication and reporting across teams.

Hard Skills:

• 6-8 years in Product Development / Project Management, with 3-4 years of experience in CIB Markets-related initiatives (products, systems, market risk).
• Expert-level knowledge of Markets Products (Structured Rates, Interest Rate Derivatives, FX Derivatives, Fixed Income).
• Advanced proficiency in Markets Industry Standard Systems (Murex, Calypso, TOMS, MarkitWire).
• Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Suite (Excel, PowerPoint).
• LATAM-specific Markets knowledge (basic competence).
• Basic experience with Project Management tools (Microsoft Project, JIRA, Kanban).
• Reporting/Visualization Tools (e.g., QlikSense, PowerBI) – nice-to-have.

Languages:

• Spanish: Advanced/native proficiency.
• English: Advanced proficiency (speaking & writing).
• Portuguese: Nice-to-have.
