Overview
My client is a pioneering Swedish biotech company focused on immunotherapy medicines including rare disease, vaccines and cancer who are seeking a passionate, dedicated Scientist to join our dynamic team in Stockholm. Structured around a strong business model and ambitious senior management team, my client is look for a self-proclaimed "lab rat" who thrives on generating data and enjoys generating data. You will become an integral part of a specialized 5-scientist team working toward groundbreaking RNA therapeutics. Over the next 18 months, you will play a crucial role as part of the team in identifying lead candidates before progressing toward IND filing and clinical trials. This position offers a unique opportunity to contribute to cutting-edge research that has the potential to transform patient outcomes in rare diseases. Requirements
The ideal candidate will possess:
- MSc in Immunology, Molecular Biology, or related life sciences field
- Experience working with rare disease models in vivo
- Proficiency in classical scientific lab techniques including:
- Western blotting and other protein analysis methods
- Cell culture and manipulation of immune cells, particularly T cells
- RNA isolation, characterization, and modification techniques
- PCR, qPCR, and other nucleic acid analysis methods
- Experience with mouse models and downstream analysis
- Experience collaborating with CROs on preclinical studies
- Knowledge of NHP models would be highly advantageous
- Strong background in immunology, especially T cell biology
- Experience in biotech environment preferred
- Excellent documentation skills and ability to design and execute experiments independently
- Proven track record of delivering results in a fast-paced research environment
