About the Role

Spacewalk is seeking a senior fullstack engineer to help build our platform and grow our company. In this role, you will work on all aspects of software development—from infrastructure and AI systems to frontend components and more—while collaborating with world-class cybersecurity experts and industry veterans. A successful candidate will have 3+ years of professional software engineering experience. Experience in AI, cybersecurity, and full-stack development is a plus but not required.

Work Environment

This is an on-site position at our Irvine office, located near Hangar24. We offer relocation assistance within the United States. Our modern, spacious office includes a free on-site gym and parking.

Responsibilities

• Define and implement technical requirements in collaboration with the engineering team.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to shape product strategy and requirements.
• Design, develop, and maintain end-to-end scalable SaaS applications, covering both backend and frontend components.
• Architect and implement robust APIs and integrate third-party services (e.g., OpenAI).
• Optimize application performance to ensure responsiveness across devices.
• Participate in code reviews, enforce coding standards, and mentor junior engineers.
• Enhance our infrastructure and developer experience by automating deployments, monitoring system health, and resolving production issues.
• Drive continuous improvements in software design, architecture, and development practices.
• Contribute to technical planning, feature prioritization, and roadmap discussions.
• Stay current with emerging technologies and industry trends to guide future development.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of relavent professional experience in software development

• AWS, Terraform
• Docker, Kubernetes, GitHub

• LLM Frameworks (LangChain, Haystack, etc.)
• React, NestJS
