Senior Backend TypeScript Developer

We are seeking an experienced Senior Backend TypeScript Developer to join our team in Belval, Luxembourg. In this role, you will leverage your technical expertise to shape our backend architecture, uphold high code quality standards, and mentor team members. • Design, develop, and maintain scalable backend services using TypeScript and Node.js following OpenAPI 3 standards.
• Lead code reviews, providing clear and constructive feedback to team members.
• Manage merge requests, ensuring code quality through thorough reviews.
• Oversee DevOps tasks, including CI/CD pipelines, infrastructure management, and deployment strategies.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver high-quality, robust solutions.
• Mentor junior developers and actively contribute to technical decision-making.

• 5+ years of professional software development experience.
• 3+ years of hands-on experience with TypeScript and Node.js.
• Strong background in DevOps practices and tools (Docker, Kubernetes, CI/CD).
• Proven ability to manage Git workflows and code review processes effectively.
• Solid understanding of API design and microservices architecture.
• Experience with database design and optimization (both SQL and NoSQL).
• Experience with monitoring and logging solutions to ensure system reliability.
• Experience with distributed message brokers systems like Kafka

• Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
• Ability to provide constructive feedback during code reviews.
• Strong problem-solving skills and keen attention to detail.
• Self-motivated with a passion for continuous learning and improvement.

• Mostly on-site in Belval, Luxembourg, with some flexibility for remote work.
