AI/ML Tech Lead

N-iX is looking for an AI/ML Technical Lead

Our Client is an award-winning global tax services and software provider and is the largest Firm in the world dedicated exclusively to business taxes. With global headquarters in Dallas, Texas, the Firm provides an integrated suite of federal, state, local, and international tax services on a multijurisdictional basis, including tax recovery, consulting, advocacy, compliance, and technology services.

Project description:

The project aims to build an application that will leverage AI and ML models to support decision-making for tax consultancy.

Responsibilities:

Leading the design, development, optimization, and deployment of cutting-edge artificial intelligence (AI) and machine learning (ML) models that solve complex business problems and enhance operational efficiency.
Driving innovation in AI/ML technologies.
Building scalable models, and integrating them into production environments.
Working cross-functionally with teams across data science, engineering, and business to deliver impactful AI/ML solutions.

Requirements:

5+ years of experience as ML engineer
Expertise in machine learning algorithms
Experience developing Python applications
Experience in using Azure cloud: Azure ML, Azure Document Intelligence, Databricks
Fluency in one or more databases, preferably relational (SQL) and NoSQL is a plus
Hands-on experience with technologies like MLFlow
Experience using at least one of the following frameworks: TensorFlow, PyTorch, Keras, XGBoost, Scikit-learn, and MLFlow
Experience with at least one of NLP solutions, for example NLTK, BERT, GPT
Extensive theoretical knowledge of software engineering
Strong analytical and creative problem-solving skills
Willingness to grow skills and capabilities
Excellent communication skills
