Devops CICD Engineer

We now have a new requirement and are looking for a consultant colleague with the qualifications listed below. The position is part of our consulting business, which means you will be employed by us and work either with clients or on internal projects and assignments.

Job Description

• Be part of CI Maintenance/Improvement activities like Artifactory back up plans , Jenkins Upgrades, Pipeline updates, framework changes , process improvements for stability of overall CI flow etc
• Analysis of CI failures, debugging & find root cause, come up with solutions & discussion with teams
• Work with Hardware & software teams to understand the requirement of the product structure designs & updating the tools diligently.
• Facilitate daily Scrum meetings, sprint planning, reviews, and retrospectives to align to CI way of working.
• Prioritise & plan backlogs & continous improvements with in team incollaboration with development teams across sites.
• Collaborate with a culture of continuous improvement to deliver the expected results
• Coordinate with multiple development teams in aligned with customer needs to cater requirements of the build, test, release flow & implement them.
• Support the teams to have a continuous check on the stability & maint of CI & dev Environment.
• Understand, discuss with network teams to have better solution for a secure E2E system.
  
  

Your Profile (Must-have Requirements)

• Must to have: Strong debugging & problem solving skill.
• Must to have : Proven experience in a DevOps role, with a strong understanding of CI/CD pipelines, automation tools. Experience in CI Maintenance/Improvement activities like Artifactory back up plans , Jenkins Upgrades, Pipeline updates, framework changes.
• Good knowledge in Setup of CI End to End flow
• Good understanding of Agile practices & scrum tools (eg jira)
• Expertise in Artifactory Tools is preferred
• Good to have – server management skill, administration skills(not mandatory)
• Knowledge about IT-infrastructure and networks : Networking knowledge to have understanding of current network design, and come up with solutions to have a better secured connectivity for client
• Hands on with git/gerrit
• Preferred Knowledge about IT Security (not mandatory)
• Positive attitude towards work, and having fun/healthy team spirit is very important
• Strong communication & leadership skills with ability to foster a collaborative team environment
• Aiming at Architect mindset & Driven, responsible to volunteer tasks
• Sharing information with good documentation ideas are most welcome : )
