About The Role
As a Business Analyst with strong Product Owner capabilities, you will be the vital link between the business, engineering, research, and design. You'll take the lead in gathering requirements, translating functional specifications into design requirements, briefing designers, and maintaining comprehensive documentation. Your role is crucial in ensuring alignment between stakeholder expectations, user needs, and the technical solution, driving seamless collaboration and effective delivery.

Your focus
- Define scope in technical terms while championing the user perspective
- Own product compliance requirements
- Navigate cross-project dependencies
- Bridge experience design and tech teams for seamless collaboration and understanding of project goals and requirements
- Map user journeys and technical solutions for alignment
- Support research efforts and technical scoping
Requirements
- Strong requirements elicitation & documentation skills
- HCD and user-centered design experience
- Excellent stakeholder management & communication
- Backlog management & delivery alignment expertise
- Advanced WCAG 2.0 & accessibility knowledge
- Agile experience & comfort with complexity
- Legal right to work in Australia
- Willing to conduct place-based research (Victoria)
- Willing to work Hybrid: studio, client sites & WFH
- 3+ years as a BA or Product Owner in an agency, consultancy, or large org
- Thrive in a collaborative, creative team
- Are kind, empathetic, and respectful
- Bring optimism, humor, and play
- Are always looking for ways to help
- Share your strengths & are supportive in your approach
