JOB DESCRIPTION
Insight Global is looking for a DevOps Engineer to join a large banking client in downtown Toronto. This candidate will join a team of developers within the treasury/finance team leading a large in-house migration project. Will be responsible for building CI/CD pipelines, software testing and configuration.
REQUIRED SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE
- Excellent problem-solving skills, engineering mindset (must be able to demonstrate this in interviews)
- Windows administration experience
- Configuration management tools e.g. SALT, Ansible or CHEF
- Development/Engineering experience e.g. Java, C#, .NET, Shell, Python - Jenkins, Github, Bitbucket, Nexus or similar toolsets
- Database experience, maintaining and managing MsSQL databases - Cloud experience e.g. AWS, GCP, Azure Services including IaaS, AKS, ADLS, ADF, Databricks, Blob, Event Hub and more
