Junior Project Manager

Job Overview:

The Junior Construction Project Manager will support the project management team in overseeing construction projects from start to finish. This role involves assisting with planning, coordination, and execution of construction tasks, ensuring that the project is completed on time, within budget, and to the required quality standards. The ideal candidate will have a strong interest in construction project management, excellent organizational skills, and a willingness to learn and grow in the field.

Key Responsibilities:

• Assist with the development of project plans, schedules, and budgets.
• Support the senior project manager in coordinating construction activities and resources.
• Monitor project progress and provide regular updates to the team and stakeholders.
• Ensure adherence to safety standards and compliance with regulations.
• Liaise with subcontractors, suppliers, and clients to facilitate smooth project execution.
• Assist in preparing and reviewing contracts and project documentation.
• Conduct site visits and inspections to monitor the quality of work.
• Address minor project-related issues and resolve them efficiently.
• Keep track of project costs and assist with budget management.
• Maintain accurate records and ensure proper documentation throughout the project lifecycle.
• Participate in meetings and communicate project progress, challenges, and solutions to senior management.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in Construction Management, Civil Engineering, Architecture, or a related field.
• 5 years of experience in construction management or a related role.
• Basic understanding of construction processes, materials, and tools.
• Familiarity with project management software (Primavera).
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to multitask, prioritize, and manage time effectively.
• Proactive problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
• Willingness to learn and grow in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment.
