Technical Support Engineer

Our client, a leading technology company specializing in IPTV/OTT solutions, is seeking a Technical Support Engineer to ensure the stability, quality, and performance of their cutting-edge digital services. This role is ideal for a technically skilled professional who thrives in a dynamic environment, combining software testing, technical support, and issue analysis to enhance customer experience and optimize service delivery.

The Role

The Technical Support Engineer will play a key role in maintaining high service standards by:

• Providing 2nd and 3rd level technical support for customers and partners using IPTV/OTT solutions.
• Testing server-side software to ensure system stability and performance.
• Evaluating user applications and video playback quality across multiple platforms.
• Analyzing logs and collaborating with development teams to diagnose and resolve technical issues.
• Engaging directly with customers and partners to troubleshoot and resolve technical challenges.

Technical Skills & Experience

• Experience in software testing (manual and automated).
• Ability to write technical documentation concisely and effectively.
• Familiarity with REST API fundamentals and tools such as Postman or Swagger.
• Fluent in English or Slovenian for effective communication.

Preferred Qualifications

• Basic understanding of video streaming protocols (HLS, MPEG-DASH, SRT).
• Knowledge of CDN architecture and video content distribution.
• Experience with test automation frameworks.
• Scripting skills in Python or Bash.
• Familiarity with Linux environments and log analysis.
