As a Senior Software Engineer at Stater, you have direct customer contact.

You will work on customer questions in a result- and customer-oriented way and improve our mortgage processes. With your knowledge of .NET (C#) and APIs, you will help build top code in Agile Scrum team sprints that our customers can only be happy with. In addition, you enjoy sharing your knowledge with our juniors. To help them further in their development in the field of Software engineering.

At Stater, we have been at the forefront of IT and our mortgage system for years. Within the changing application landscape, which supports our state-of-the-art mortgage system, you as a Software Engineer are responsible for the realization and implementation of changes. Complex matter, which you understand and which you like to dive deep into. Just like in the complex systems and the software environment.

You are often in direct contact with internal and external customers, even if you are involved in:

• Modifying, expanding, perfecting and optimizing existing systems and processes.
• Designing, developing and implementing new systems
• Advising on (im)possibilities of systems and production environments, setting up, maintaining and monitoring the software architecture.
• Safeguarding knowledge and guiding junior and medior colleagues in their substantive development and growth.

A true Software Engineer who knows that the profession is more than just 'correcting code' and who likes to work broadly. You have vision, solid technical knowledge and translate your customer's wishes and requirements. You have great knowledge of SQL, know .NET well and Sybase is not new to you. In addition to being strong in terms of content, you are proactive and focused on improvement. You have a strong urge to execute and know how to plan and organize your work and that of the team in such a way that the customer is surprised. You are a T-shaped professional when it comes to multidisciplinary collaboration in a sprint. SQL, C# hold no secrets for you. It is a big plus if you have ring experience with mortgage management processes.

And you also have:

• At least 6 years of work experience as a Software Engineer or Software Developer.
• Knowledge of and experience with SQL, such as SQL Server or Sybase.
• Knowledge of and experience with .NET where knowledge of .NET Core is a plus.
• Cloud, ServiceMesh experience.
• REST, API-led.
• Worked in an Agile & CI/CD environment.
