Information and Security Specialist

We seek a new colleague that can combine strategic information security responsibilities with hands-on IT management.

Job Description

In this role, you will be our primary point of contact for information security and compliance matters, ensuring our site meets the highest cybersecurity standards. You will lead our approach to regulatory compliance, collaborate closely with stakeholders across the organization, and guide our efforts to achieve and maintain a security protection classification status. In addition, you’ll oversee daily IT operations, manage our IT team with supporting contractors, and drive continuous improvement of our infrastructure, policies, and procedures.

Key Responsibilities Include

• Safeguarding our assets
• Defining, implementing, and validating site-specific information security strategies, policies, and procedures
• Monitoring and ensuring compliance with applicable cybersecurity regulations and standards
• Overseeing IT operations and infrastructure, including leading the IT System Administrator
• Driving the implementation of secure processes in accordance with säkerhetsskyddslagen
• Working cross-functionally with other teams to mitigate risks, manage incidents, and ensure business continuity
• Oversee IT awareness and security training
• Responsible for AI strategy
  
  

This position is based at our centrally located office in Gothenburg.

Qualifications

We are looking for a candidate with substantial experience in information security, IT operations, and regulatory compliance. You likely have a relevant university degree and several years of hands-on experience in roles that blend strategy with day-to-day management of IT teams and systems.

Your Background And Skills Should Include

• Strong understanding of cybersecurity frameworks, best practices, and relevant regulations (e.g., ISO 27001, NIS2, GDPR)
• Proven track record in IT operations management, including infrastructure planning and administration
• Experience leading or contributing organization compliance to säkerhetsskyddslagen
• Familiarity with risk assessment, incident response, and business continuity planning
• Fluent in Swedish, both spoken and written, with excellent communication skills in English
