Data Scientist

At Range, we're looking for a Data Scientist to work on our next-generation AI and machine-learning initiatives. Data drives every decision at Range, powering our efforts in DeFi security, ensuring blockchains are safe and compliant, and delivering market insights that influence millions of users worldwide. Your expertise will help redefine blockchain security, anti-fraud, and compliance and set new industry standards leveraged by leading organizations in the industry, such as Circle and Solana. You will also help recover millions of dollars from hacks and protect millions of consumers.

What You’ll Do

• Contribute to our AI efforts to automate blockchain intelligence and anomaly detection.
• Drive machine learning research to enhance blockchain security and foster sustainable growth.
• Design innovative data collection strategies to network risks, monitor user behavior, and track market trends.
• Build scalable ML models for risk assessment, forecasting, and anomaly detection.
• Collaborate closely with engineering and product teams to deploy robust models into production.
• Deliver actionable insights that improve DeFi security and operational efficiency.
• Stay at the forefront of industry trends in machine learning and blockchain analytics.

Requirements

• At least 2 years of data science experience with a strong focus on machine learning techniques (e.g., Gradient Boosting, LLMs, etc).
• Advanced proficiency in Python and SQL, with hands-on experience using LangChain & RAG, alongside statistical and analytical skills.
• A Master’s degree in Computer Science, Maths, Physics, Engineering, or Data Science.
• A genuine interest and love for graphs and graph algorithms.
• A self-motivated, curious innovator who thrives in a fast-paced environment.
• A collaborative team player with a strong sense of ownership.
• A deep passion for blockchain and Web3 technologies.
• Experience with DeFi protocols and on-chain data analysis is a plus.
