Your Role

This role is a key contributor to the Brenntag Product Design Team, based in Amsterdam, shaping the digital experience of our products by designing intuitive, user-friendly, and visually compelling interfaces. Collaborate closely with cross-functional teams to create seamless experiences that drive value for our users and business.

Responsibilities

  • Design System & Language: Contribute to the development and evolution of acohesive, scalable, and user-friendly design system in alignment with our Manager of Product Design
  • Quality & Consistency: Ensure usability and design consistency across multiple digital products (you may need to switch projects regularly)
  • User Research & Insights: Conduct UX research, user interviews, journey mapping, and usability testing to inform and refine design decisions
  • Collaboration & Execution: Work closely with product owners, product designers, researchers, and developers to design valuable and impactful digital solutions
  • Wireframing & Prototyping: Create wireframes, prototypes, and interactive mockups to communicate design ideas effectively
  • End-to-End UX Design: Support user flows, information architecture, and interaction design, ensuring optimal user experience
  • Project support: Contribute to multiple UI/UX activities across digital products and product bundles, aligning designs with strategic goals
  • Flexibility & Adaptability: Be open to picking up non-UX-related design activities(visual/graphic/slide designs, etc.) when needed, demonstrating the ability to wear multiple hats and adapt to different design challenges

Your Profile

  • Proven experience in UI/UX design, digital product design, or interaction design
  • Strong skills in user research, journey mapping, and usability testing
  • Proficiency in design systems, wireframing, prototyping
  • Ability to adapt to shifting priorities and collaborate effectively in a fast-paced, cross-functional environment
  • Strong communication skills to advocate for design decisions and align with business goals
