Responsibilities:
- Develop comprehensive project plans outlining scope, timelines, budgets, and resource requirements.
- Collaborate with stakeholders to define project objectives, deliverables, and success criteria.
- Conduct feasibility studies and risk assessments to identify potential challenges and mitigation strategies.
- Lead project teams and coordinate activities to ensure timely and successful project delivery.
- Monitor project progress, identifying and addressing issues as they arise.
- Implement effective project controls to manage scope, schedule, budget, and quality.
- Establish and maintain strong relationships with internal and external stakeholders, including clients, vendors, and regulatory bodies.
- Communicate project status, risks, and updates regularly to stakeholders and management.
- Allocate resources effectively and ensure that team members understand their roles and responsibilities.
- Collaborate with functional managers to secure necessary resources for project success.
- Implement and oversee quality assurance processes to ensure deliverables meet or exceed industry standards.
- Conduct regular project reviews and audits to identify opportunities for improvement.
- Develop and manage project budgets, tracking expenses and ensuring adherence to financial constraints.
- Identify cost-saving opportunities and implement strategies to optimize project expenditures.
Qualifications and Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in engineering, project management, or a related field (Master's degree preferred).
- Proven experience as a Project Manager in the energy sector, with a focus on renewable energy, power generation, or related areas.
- Project Management Professional (PMP) certification is highly desirable.
- Strong knowledge of energy project lifecycle, from feasibility studies to commissioning.
- Excellent communication, leadership, and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously and prioritize tasks effectively.
- Familiarity with relevant regulations, codes, and standards in the energy industry.
- Proficiency in project management tools and software.
