The primary purpose of this role is to lead the way in utilizing Al and Machine Learning techniques to enable AAL to deliver better customer outcomes, automate processes and make optimal business decisions which deliver rea organisational value.

About The Role

• Analysing large datasets of both structured and unstructured data to discover trends and patterns.
• Building predictive models and machine-learning algorithms.
• Deploying modelling solutions into operational practices, applying systematic test plans and quality assurance processes to ensure quality and integrity.
• Creating user and training documentation for deployed solutions.
• Working in a cross-functional capacity to understand key business problems that need to be addressed and proposing solutions.
• Mentoring, educating, and inspiring others within the team and across the business around the value of data science methods and best practices.
• Collaborating with broader Data and Analytics teams to ensure robust, scalable, and sustainable advanced analytics solutions are delivered to solve business problems.
  
  

About You

• 2-4 years of proven experience in a Data Scientist role, applying data science methods to solve complex business problems within a commercial setting.
• Hands-on experience with Azure cloud platforms, including Azure Machine Learning for model deployment and management, is preferred.
• Strong proficiency in Python, with coding skills in data manipulation, machine learning, (R, SQL) and data visualization.
• Degree in a highly quantitative field such as Computer Science, Mathematics, or Statistics (or equivalent).
• Experience with data mining, statistical methods, and machine learning techniques.
• Strong problem-solving skills, with the ability to navigate complexity and deliver pragmatic, commercially viable solutions.
• Excellent communication skills, capable of articulating complex ideas clearly to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
• Proven ability to effectively manage multiple tasks, prioritize, and meet competing demands.
