Job Title: Data Analyst with Presto and HiveQL experience

Locations: RGA Tech park, Bangalore/onsite role

Type: Contract role

Note: HiveQL and Presto are mandatory skills here (without presto and HiveQL we will not consider the profile)

Job description:

Key Responsibilities:

• Utilize SQL (Presto, HiveQL, MySQL) for querying and analyzing datasets.

• Create and manage dashboards in Tableau or Looker Studio to monitor key metrics.

• Work with various types of datasets to derive actionable insights.

• Solve complex problems and handle ambiguity with ease.

Required Technical Skills:

• 2+ years of experience with SQL (Presto, HiveQL, MySQL)

• 2+ years of experience with Tableau or Looker Studio

Preferred Skills:

• Experience working with large datasets

• Python experience, especially for data analysis (pandas, numpy, matplotlib, etc.)

Detailed Responsibilities:

Data Querying and Analysis:

• Utilize SQL (Presto, HiveQL, MySQL) to query and analyze datasets, deriving actionable insights from complex data.

Dashboard Creation and Management:

• Create and manage dashboards in Tableau or Looker Studio to monitor key metrics, ensuring they are accurate and effectively communicate data insights.

Problem Solving and Insight Generation:

• Solve complex data problems and handle ambiguity with ease, using data to provide actionable insights and support data-driven decision-making.

Check and Respond to Emails, Review Dashboard Metrics Team Stand-Up Meeting, Data Querying and Analysis, Data Querying and Analysis, Problem-Solving and Troubleshooting, Data Insights and Reporting, Collaborate with Teams, Documentation and Reporting, Review and plan

Closely work with Data and Analytics Team, Regular Interaction with Business Users, Interaction with External Stakeholders, IT and Engineering Teams, Management and Leadership,
