Information Security Officer (VP)

Information Security Officer (VP) - Cyber Security, PCI DSS, ISO27001- EMI/Fintech Payments

A recognised and rapidly scaling EMI/Fintech registered Payments organisation are seeking an experienced Information Security Officer to join to be the spearhead of implementing information security policies and procedures whilst ensuring the technical safety of the organisation. The successful candidate will lead a team and report directly to the CEO and CTO, playing a crucial role in maintaining and enhancing the organization's cybersecurity measures.

Please note: It is essential that you have extensive experience in Cyber Security, Information System Security management and a strong understanding of IT security requirements in Türkiye, PCI DSS and ISO27001

Key Responsibilities for the Information Security Officer (VP) role:

• Develop and implement information security strategies, policies, and procedures
• Lead a team of cybersecurity professionals to ensure the security of the organization's digital assets
• Collaborate closely with the CEO and CTO to align security initiatives with business objectives
• Stay informed about IT security requirements in Türkiye and ensure compliance with applicable regulations
• Conduct regular security assessments and audits to identify and mitigate potential risks
• Provide guidance and expertise on information system security management
  
  

Qualifications required for the Information Security Officer (VP) role:

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field
• 8-10 years of experience in cybersecurity, Information System Security management, and IT security requirements in Türkiye.
• History of working with PCI DSS and ISO27001
• Proven track record of leading cybersecurity initiatives in a fast-paced environment
• Strong knowledge of cybersecurity best practices, tools, and technologies
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
