DevOps Engineer | Azure

Fantastic opportunity for an experienced DevOps Engineer to join a well-established and global financial services company.

The role will be responsible for ensuring infrastructure and product solutions are deployed with scalability and support the delivery of DevOps and continual improvements in cloud environments.

The Role:

• Develop, implement, and manage CI/CD pipelines utilising Azure DevOps tools and services.
• Work closely with development teams to streamline and automate build, testing, and deployment workflows.
• Collaborate with engineers to develop and maintain robust data pipelines
• Contribute to the planning of DevOps initiatives and activities with the team
• Support and build continuous integration and release management activities
• Continually look for new ways to improve technology, processes and practices
• Design, develop and deliver enterprise scale DevOps practices and solutions
• Keep up with current industry best practices and make recommendations for adoption

The Person:

• Degree in Computer Science or a relevant subject
• Proven experience as a DevOps Engineer, preferably with a focus on Azure cloud technologies.
• Experience of designing and building architecture within a Cloud-based role.
• Experience in Data Warehousing, ETL and SQL Programming
• Proven experience with Azure technologies and services
• Proficiency with Python, Java, R and Scala
• Good understanding of Terraform, C# and PowerShell
• Strong communication skills and experience managing key stakeholders
