Technical Team Leader/Expert of Backend team (PHP 8, Laravel)

Role:

• Supervise a team of software developers, translate product goals into understandable and achievable iterations and ensure the team delivers high-quality software solutions on time and within budget
• Promote and contribute to a positive and supportive team culture that values collaboration, innovation and continuous improvement
• Develop and implement software development methodologies (PHP, Laravel, MS SQL, Redis, Git, GitLab, Docker) and best practices (Agile and Scrum) and provide technical guidance and mentoring to team members
• Manage project schedules and resource plans, identify and mitigate project risks and
• Conduct performance evaluations, provide feedback and coach team members to improve their skills and performance while ensuring compliance with coding standards, best practices and security protocols
• Contribute to a positive and supportive team culture that values collaboration, innovation and continuous improvement

Requirements:

• 3+ years of previous experience (or equivalent) in programming with a focus on web applications; at least 1 year of experience in leading SWD teams
• Good self-managing skills, ownership, big desire to support the team and show results, fair and kind person (+ we love people with good sense of humor!)
• Good understanding of Scrum and Agile methodologies
• Proficiency in software development tools and methodologies such as PHP 8, Laravel (whichever), MS SQL, Redis, Git, GitLab, Docker
• Ability to come to the office few times a month
• C1 English
• Front-end development skills and experience (Typescript, React) will be a huge asset
