This revolutionary tech scale-up is redesigning real time monitoring and predictive analytics using AI, IoT, and sensor data.
Their technology has been adopted all over the world, enabling farmers to monitor and preserve animals effectively, resulting in 50% reduction in animal death loss.
One of the farms in US saved more than $10,000 over seven months thanks to timely interventions facilitated by their sensors.
Their global footprint is growing massively and now they need a dedicated colleague to deploy and maintain stable ML pipelines. Currently they're hiring for a Data Scientist with MLOps expertise for their office in the Utrecht Area
Your role:
- Build & optimize ML Pipelines that process continuous streams of sensor data tracking animal behaviour, health patterns, fertility cycles, and feeding habits to generate real-time alerts and predictive analytics for farmers.
- By automating workflows that refine and validate data from IoT ear sensors, You help Data Scientists improve early disease detection, breeding predictions, and nutritional monitoring with data decision-making.
- You will deploy real-time analytics that detect health issues 1-2 days before clinical symptoms. Ensuring farmers can take action before problems escalate reducing medical costs, stress on animals, and production losses.
- Implement Infrastructure-as-Code (IaC) solutions to scale AI deployments seamlessly, ensuring every farm whether 20 or 20,000 animals receives reliable, automated insights.
- Optimize scalability, monitoring, and automation across a growing global AI platform, allowing farms worldwide to seamlessly integrate machine learning insights into their daily routines for smarter, data-driven management.
What You’ll Need to Succeed:
- Python, Databricks, PySpark, and Structured Streaming
- Experience in MLOps & Cloud-Based ML Deployment (AWS/GCP/Azure).
- Infrastructure as Code for deployment.
- Ability to adapt and drive innovation.
- Passion for helping farmers globally thanks to AI, IoT, and sustainability-driven innovation.
- Knowledge of Dutch Language
What's in it for you?
- Work on AI solutions that directly impact sustainability and global food security.
- Collaborate with a world-class team of Data Scientists and Engineers.
- Flexible work environment with remote options
- Possibility to learn and work with new technologies
- Salary up to €5500 per month
