Software Test Engineer

YOUR CHALLENGES

  • Elaboration, implementation and execution of test strategies and scenarios
  • Definition of test-specifications in close cooperation with the development team
  • Further development of VATs automated software test system (hardware and software)
  • Drive engineering excellence by improving processes, tools and knowledge exchange
  • Ability to apply state-of-the-art technologies to fulfill the project goals
  • Working in a cross functional, multicultural and globally spread team

YOUR COMPETENCIES

  • University degree in Computer Science or any other technical degree and solid experience in software engineering
  • Multi years of knowledge in the embedded software testing (LabVIEW, LabVIEW CVI, C, C#, Visual Basic, Phyton, Database SQL)
  • Communication protocol experience such as EtherCAT, Ethernet, DeviceNet or CC-Link
  • Good analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Fluent in English, German beneficial
