• Ensure all work follows safe work practices and procedures.


• Respond immediately to all work requests which concern Health and Safety.


• Ensure environmentally friendly practices are followed when handling chemicals, lubricants and refrigerants.


• Respond to guest requests promptly in a professional and courteous manner.


• Facilitate and coordinates maintenance and repairs to all civil, interior design and


• MEP works.

• Ensure the optimum performance of all MEP equipment by effectively managing the preventive maintenance and the shift readings programs.


• Evaluate and appropriately responds to equipment usage and energy efficiency.


• Ensure that all work orders are completed with due diligence.


• Maintain a daily log book highlighting problems and solutions; and activities.

• The Duty Engineer is responsible for the efficient operation and maintenance of the physical plant, utility services, and structure in the hotel facility.


• Facilitate the organization of preventive maintenance schedules, work order requests and all MEP and civil works.

• Minimum of two years experience at the same role in a five star hotels.
