Our Data Science Intern will work closely with other members of the Data Science team to learn how to manage and process data, as well as design and conduct experiments to analyse results. You will have the opportunity to develop Python software components and proofs-of-concept and to create data visualisations. Additionally, you will explore advanced topics such as generative AI, natural language processing, computer vision, and graph analytics. The internship also covers writing and deploying Python microservices for hosting analytical tools, providing a comprehensive understanding of modern data science practices.

Recruitment process: We will begin reviewing applications in March 2025 and running interview days in April & May 2025.

Requirements:

• Australian citizenship
• Studying for a Bachelor’s degree (or equivalent) in a research-oriented STEM subject
• GPA 6.0 or higher
• A strong grasp of the scientific method
• In your penultimate (second last year) in 2025
• Graduating in 2026 (mid or end of year)
• Living in Adelaide, South Australia- this is an in-person internship
