Product Design Manager | B2C | NordPass

The Product Design department oversees the entire product development process or upgrades the existing product designs. By identifying and characterizing the issues, we design solutions scaling from technical to human-centered methods.

As a Product Design Manager, you will join NordPass to lead the product designers' team and ensure that the products NordPass develops are valuable and of the highest standard. You will partner up with the Product, Engineering, UX Writing, and UX Research teams in this position. Together you'll shape UX strategy, drive operations, and ensure that the product meets real user needs.

Main Responsibilities

• Support product designers' teams and help them deliver great results, manage overall team performance and health;
• Shape the design team structure in a respective business domain;
• Mentor direct reports and help them grow as design professionals;
• Oversee user experience of features from conception to launch;
• Provide a strong UX and visual design direction, identify opportunities, and raise the bar of design quality;
• Improve design operations in cross-functional environments
  
  
  
  
  

Core Requirements

• At least 4 years of proven experience working in Product Design and shipping digital products;
• At least 2 years of experience building collaborative teams and experience mentoring direct reports;
• Experience working collaboratively with Product, Engineering, Content, and UX Research peers and teams;
• Experience building and shipping applications for a range of platforms;
• Experience representing work to a wider product team, clearly articulating decisions, goals, and concepts;
• Experience shaping product direction, making strategic decisions;
