The Product Engineering Chapter within the Architecture and Software Engineering (A&SE) global function is responsible for driving organizational excellence. Our mission is to foster a culture of engineering excellence by driving and sharing best practices, while helping teams standardize and align their ways of working. This includes key areas such as leadership, software platform development, engineering practices, processes, and overall operational effectiveness.

As an Agile Transformation Coach, you will report to the Head of Agile Transformation in Roche Information Solutions. You will primarily support senior leadership teams by bridging business and technology, aligning strategy with execution, and promoting agile best practices harmonization. Your role will empower teams to work in a value-driven, high-performance way of working, with a focus on business agility.

The opportunity

  • Leading the development and deployment of world-class agile ways of working across Roche Information Solutions, ensuring an agile, unified approach that aligns business and technology
  • Fostering collaboration between business and technical leaders to implement a customer-centered, product-driven framework throughout the entire lifecycle. This involves organizing meetings with top leadership to understand their needs, align on objectives, and negotiate agreements that drive mutual benefits and support the overall vision
  • Promoting agile practices within an engineering unit and across the organization by standardizing methods based on best practices. This includes designing and defining the framework (roles, artifacts, and events) and being able to coach and train others on how to implement it
  • Strengthening alignment between strategy and execution to drive organizational agility by ensuring measurement frameworks are in place to track and improve progress. Leading the OKR definition process and the creation of dashboards for high-performance metrics. Supporting teams in generating data-driven insights and learnings
  • Driving agile mindset key initiatives focused on coaching leadership to embrace agile principles, fostering collaboration, innovation, and a growth-oriented environment
  • Travel: International travel up to 10% required


Who You Are
  • Master's degree or relevant experience in a related field (e.g., Computer Science, Engineering, Business Administration, M.Sc. or MBA)
  • 15+ years leading digital and product development teams, ideally with experience in software and systems engineering, and in the healthcare sector
  • Consulting experience in strategy or agile transformation, driving effective strategies for agile adoption and mindset development, with expertise in implementing the Scaled Agile Framework (SAFe) at Large Solution and Portfolio levels, and SAFe Practice Consultant (SPC) certification
  • Expertise in working with senior and middle management, with strong communication, consulting, and negotiation skills to influence and align several stakeholders
  • Strong communicator, coach, and trainer, skilled at collaborating with stakeholders, building organizational knowledge, and advising on agile practices and mindset. Quick to adapt and navigate complex organizations with a systems-thinking approach
  • Required: Excellent written and spoken English skills

Locations

You can be based in Sant Cugat, collaborating with global teams.

As this position is a global role, international business travel will be required depending upon the business location of the successful candidate and ongoing business project activities.
