Job Title: Project Purchasing Manager

Location: Oslo (3-days/week in office)

Contract length: 12-months (likelihood of extension)

Start date: ASAP

Responsibilities:

• Manage multiple projects simultaneously, adhering to established project and purchasing models.
• Oversee all purchasing activities for each project, including supplier sourcing, selection, package strategy, cost evaluation, and negotiations.
• Support tender purchasing, collaborating closely with relevant teams.
• Mentor senior purchasers and team members.
• Follow and implement purchasing strategies.
• Monitor procurement plans, P&L costing, and subcontracting activities; provide updates to the team lead.
• Lead procurement strategy development and subcontract negotiation.
• Ensure supplier qualifications and participate in supplier audits when needed.
• Track invoicing and payments, ensuring alignment with agreements.
• Report savings and cost avoidance in accordance with procedures.

Required Skills:

• Fluent in English; additional languages (Norwegian/French) are a plus.
• Master’s degree in Engineering, Business, or Supply Chain.
• At least 7 years of experience with project purchasing experience essential with a strong track record in negotiations.
• Subsea experience is ideal
• Ideally worked with FIDIC/NEC
• Familiarity with SAP essential, BI, and Ariba is an advantage.
• Ability to coordinate stakeholders and maintain organized discussions.
