Your Role

We are looking for an AWS Cloud Engineer with at least 1,5 years of hands-on experience in AWS technologies and serverless architectures to support and expand our Digital Source Tracker platform. The ideal candidate will have practical experience with AWS services, be passionate about development, and eager to embrace new technologies. This role offers the opportunity to work on a comprehensive AWS-based solution, including services such as Lambda, API Gateway, S3, RDS, DynamoDB, CloudWatch, and more. Your Role
Job Description:
We are looking for an AWS Cloud Engineer with at least 1,5 years of hands-on experience in AWS technologies and serverless architectures to support and expand our Digital Source Tracker platform. This role offers the opportunity to work on a comprehensive AWS-based solution, including services such as Lambda, API Gateway, S3, RDS, DynamoDB, CloudWatch, and more. Key Responsibilities
- Develop, deploy, and maintain AWS Lambda functions using the Serverless framework and CloudFormation for infrastructure-as-code.
- Manage AWS services including Amazon S3, Amazon RDS (Aurora MySQL), and DynamoDB for data storage.
- Configure and monitor API endpoints via Amazon API Gateway that facilitate data ingestion from customer websites and integration with Salesforce.
- Implement and maintain Lambda functions for data ingestion, normalization, and transformation of UTM parameters, clickstream data, and other digital engagement information.
- Integrate processed data with Salesforce, transforming it into the expected formats and pushing it via Salesforce APIs.
- Utilize AWS IAM roles and policies to ensure secure, restricted access between services.
- Monitor system performance and logs using Amazon CloudWatch and set up alarms for error tracking and performance issues.
- Ensure compliance with SOC 2 requirements using AWS services like GuardDuty, CloudTrail logs, and encryption protocols (e.g., AWS KMS).
- Operational Excellence:
- Participate in CI/CD pipelines using tools such as Bitbucket and Jenkins.
- Work collaboratively with cross-functional teams to optimize application performance and ensure robust security across AWS deployments.
- Innovation & Growth:
- Stay current with emerging AWS technologies and best practices.
- Contribute ideas for incorporating new technologies (e.g., Amazon SageMaker for machine learning and optional Salesforce development) into our platform.
- Be proactive in seeking opportunities for personal and professional growth within our evolving technology landscape.
Required Qualifications:
- Minimum of 1,5 years of experience working with AWS services, including but not limited to:
- AWS Lambda, API Gateway, S3, RDS (Aurora MySQL), DynamoDB, CloudWatch, IAM, VPC, and SQS.
- Experience with serverless architectures and infrastructure-as-code deployments (e.g., Serverless framework, CloudFormation).
- Basic experience with C# development for AWS Lambda functions.
- Basic JavaScript coding skills for working with scripts that interact with AWS APIs.
- Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines (Bitbucket, Jenkins, etc.) and modern development practices.
- Basic understanding of data transformation, ingestion pipelines, and API integrations.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and a proactive approach to learning new technologies.
- Strong communication skills and ability to work effectively in a collaborative team environment.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Prior exposure to Salesforce integrations.
- Interest or experience in machine learning initiatives, particularly with Amazon SageMaker.
