Product Design Manager | Senior

NordVPN is seeking an experienced Product Design Manager to join the Design team. As the Product Design Manager, you will play a crucial role in leading the product design efforts and shaping the future of how users interact with NordVPN. You’ll lead a talented team of product designers and ux writers, fostering an environment of collaboration and innovation while ensuring we deliver user-centric, polished designs that align with our brand and product mission.


Main Responsibilities

• Lead and mentor a team of Product Designers & UX Writers fostering a collaborative and creative work environment
• Collaborate closely with the Product Owners and Engineering to drive design initiatives
• Drive the overall design strategy and vision for the Apps Design team, aligning it with business objectives and NordVPN's brand guidelines
• Oversee the end-to-end design process, from concept to implementation, ensuring a user-centric approach and a seamless cross-platform user experience
• Conduct regular design reviews, providing constructive feedback to the team to elevate the overall design quality
• Stay updated on industry trends, emerging technologies, and design best practices to continuously improve NordVPN's design standards
• Work closely with stakeholders to understand business goals and user needs, translating them into actionable design strategies
• Combine strong people management and leadership skills with a solid design background to foster a positive and collaborative team culture.

  
  
  
  

Core Requirements

• 7+ years of experience in product design, with at least 2 years in a leadership role in a product-focused environment
• Strong portfolio showcasing a range of successful design projects with a focus on app design
• Expertise in app design, with knowledge of best practices for iOS, Android, and desktop platforms
• Excellent leadership and communication skills, with the ability to inspire and motivate a team

Salary range

• Gross Salary 6000 - 6700 EUR/Month
