Business Intelligence Specialist/Analyst (Medior/Senior)

What will you do?

As a Business Intelligence Specialist, your primary focus will be to transform raw data into actionable insights and help streamline the way we operate. This role offers significant autonomy and the expectation to deliver meaningful value to the business.

• Design and manage BI solutions: Build dashboards and reports to monitor KPI’s across the organization.
• Streamline processes: Review existing workflows and identify areas where efficiency can be improved.
• Collaborate with various teams: Work closely with departments such as Marketing, Finance, and Technology to ensure data solutions address their specific needs.
• Automate tasks: Replace repetitive workflows with smart, scalable solutions.
• Make data digestible: Present insights in a way that is understood across all departments.
• Lay the foundation: As this is a new role, you will help establish the BI function, setting standards and processes for the long term.

Who are you?

You are confident in your technical skills and capable of working independently across multiple departments. You are not afraid to challenge the status quo and propose better solutions where necessary.

Skills and Experience:

• Proven experience: Three to five years in business intelligence, e-commerce, or software consultancy. You have worked on cross-functional projects and understand how to deliver results in a fast-paced environment.
• Technical proficiency:
• Advanced SQL skills (required).
• Expertise in BI tools such as Power BI, Tableau, or Metabase.
• Experience with Google Workspace, Excel, and process automation tools.
• Collaborative mindset: Demonstrated experience in supporting multiple departments.
• Problem-solving ability: Proven ability to identify inefficiencies and implement solutions that improve performance.
• Clear communication: Ability to explain complex data to non-technical stakeholders and make it relevant to their goals.
• Preferred experience: Knowledge of Salesforce and familiarity with data modeling or warehouse development are strong advantages.
