Data Engineer / Analyst - South America - fully remote

This is an exciting opportunity to work on a project for our US-based B2B SaaS client who has a very successful real estate CRM platform.

We're looking for a South America based Data Engineer/Analyst to work on and extend a reporting solution for our client.The ideal candidate will have experience of:

• Understanding, extending and designing a database schema optimised for reporting and data visualisation
• Building Looker reports to make operational data accessible in a multi-tenant SaaS 
• Optimise data ingestion, reports and data extraction for CRM, lease and event data to speed up ingestion and reports while keeping Snowflake compute and storage costs under control
• Use external data sources to build reports to measure data quality
• integrating reporting with existing user authentication and authorisation
• Experience with Looker, Snowflake and SQL.

Other requirements:

• Needs to be living in a US time zone (Central or South America)
• Fluent English speaker (our client is an English speaking company)

Overloop is a UK based company, and our team currently works remotely mostly from around Europe.

This will be to work full time, on a contractor basis. The hourly rate will be approximately $35- $40 depending on experience and skills.

There will be likely 2, perhaps 3 rounds of interviews. In the first round we will ask you to solve some SQL questions during the interview. All interviewees will be required to have a working camera during the interview and be able to screen share their solution to the SQL questions.

Please note that we cannot sponsor visas at this time. This is a fully remote, contractor role. We are hoping our ideal candidate can start within approximately 1-2 months.
