DevOps Engineer

In this role, you will be responsible for designing, enhancing, and deploying both physical and digital infrastructure. A key part of your work will involve setting up optimized network routes, coding, and automating on-premises hardware and cloud infrastructure to support both production trading and development environments. Security, integrity, and low-latency performance are always top priorities when configuring provisioning.

By utilizing infrastructure pipelines, you’ll also contribute to performance testing for hardware and software configurations to support ultra-fast trading systems. You’ll play a crucial role in ensuring the infrastructure remains robust, reliable, and optimized for performance. Writing structured, secure, and maintainable code is essential, and you take responsibility for ensuring high transparency and security standards.

This position is vital within the organization. The team is small, meaning you’ll have significant responsibilities and autonomy. You thrive on outpacing competitors and focusing on quality. A flat hierarchy ensures a hands-on approach, where everyone works together to achieve excellence.

Who You Are:

• Experienced with low latency engineering
• Proficient in Python or Node.js, with experience in Linux/Unix environments, command line, and SSH
• Familiar with version control systems (Git)
• Detail-oriented coder who follows strict coding standards to minimize errors
• Strong communicator, proactive, self-motivated, honest, adaptable, and resilient under pressure
• Hands-on experience with Cisco switch configuration is a plus
• Experience with Terraform, Ansible, and AWS is a plus
