We launched our payments product in 2021 and our point-of-sale product in 2022. About the Role

On our UX team, merchants are at the heart of everything we do. We encourage everyone on the team to regularly go on merchant visits, so we’re confident we’re building products that deliver an affordable, efficient, and personal payments experience. You’ll support a diverse set of products including point of sale software on desktop and mobile devices, business management in our merchant administration portal, data visualisation and reporting, emails, invoices, receipts, and internal support tools.

You’ll be involved in every step of the product development process, from early ideation with product managers to close collaboration with engineers and specialists to ensure products are shipped at the highest quality. We’re small but mighty, and we work to empower all our team to become experts in what interests them by offering challenging and rewarding work opportunities, mentorship and coaching in a supportive environment. We support our team with industry-standard equipment and cutting-edge processes, plus a local office to work from.

What you’ll do

In your first 30 days you can expect to:

• Get to know the company & people
• Immerse yourself in the merchant experience and payments industry
• Get hands on with the existing product experience
• Create your first customer-centric designs by using data, market analysis, and merchant feedback
• Work with a top-notch engineering team to implement solutions based on your design

In your first 60 days you can expect to:

• Participate in planning and ideation sessions for new features and projects with PMs and engineering
• Perform user interviews for generative and evaluative research
• Use and contribute to our design system
• Track the success of your projects and advocate for refinements and improvements

What makes you a great fit

• Comfortable using Figma and Figma components
• Produced high-quality UI designs for web and mobile
• Familiar with best practices for user-centered product design and research
• Experience working in a collaborative cross-functional team
• A self-starter, eager learner, conscientious teammate, and a thoughtful, kind, supportive human
• Can speak professional level English and Italian

Bonus points

• Experience designing data heavy or SaaS products
• Fintech/payment industry experience
• Performed evaluative research using prototypes
• Conversational level French
